If I could rate it lower than a “one star” I would. The place is not at all what the online pics make it look like. It was very very dirty. The base board trim was coated in dust, the floors where dirty and full of black grime in the corners. Behind the bed (under headboard) looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in months……full of dust, garbage and dirt. Contacted the service desk and they were not very helpful, quite rude actually. Offered to have our room cleaned “top to bottom” hmmmm…..thought that’s what should be done every time?????? Problem is that they have a bunch of motels/hotels that the Rome hotel cares for but no management around any of them, it appears that the only hotel they put any time, $$ or effort into is the ROME and say forget the others….and their guests! Wrote the manager a letter after we got home with no response…..perhaps they are rude too? Or just so used to hearing complaints that it goes in one ear and out the other. Go across the street and rent a room from “Diamond Motel” or “Paradise Motel” it appears to be well kept, people we talked to said rooms were nice, also got free tickets to Mt Olympus, rooms were cheaper, and they have an outdoor pool for evening hours!!!

Advertising made it sound like there was a waterpark at our hotel. True we were only one tenth of a mile from Mt Olympus but that one tenth of a mile seems like a pretty long walk when you have to walk so much at the water park and theme park. There wasn’t even a pool at our hotel. We had ants in our room, the air conditioner was so loud it sounded like a chainsaw, and the neighbors on top of us thumped on our ceiling all night long. The water park had it’s fun moments but 6 of us went, 5 of us actually went on the rides and of those 5, 4 of us ended up injured. I didn’t see one first aid station on the property but they sure needed one as I saw quite a few injuries. I will say the staff was friendly at the Hotel Rome where we had to check in and our staff at Mykonos where we picked up our keys was also nice. The staff at the resort however were NOT. If you don’t like people DON’T work at a resort. At every ride lines were long, that’s to be expected but a kind word here and there from ride attendants would make the wait much more pleasant. At the indoor theme park there was a line for the roller coaster mainly because the two young people running it couldn’t stop making eyes at each other and using every opportunity to touch each other. They ignored the kids getting in the rides, barely making sure they were in the rides properly and didn’t so much as offer a hand to help anyone out of the rides. Cars were left empty while they flirted and the long hot line sweltered. We will definitely visit the Dells again as there was so very much to do. LOVED the Wild Thing jet boat, but we will definitely look for some place else to stay.

We were totally lied to by the pics online, and by the rude, disinterested teenage employees. This place RUINED our 10 year anniversary….and the only thing that would get rid of the uncleanliness of this rip-off would be to light it on fire.

So not impressed at all with this place or the dells it’s self.As for this resort i would NOT recommend it at all. Very dirty,out dated,beds horrible,stinky.Too much money.Air didn’t work at all,called for maintenance came told us the way they where made is the reason it wasn’t cooling well guy opens it up my husband told him it needed cleaned he laughed and said it was fine left so my hubby took a hotel towel cleaned the coils and it cooled much better.Booked a 2 queen room ended up with a king bed & sofa couch room had nothing else to put us in. Very Very unhappy…

This is the horrible place…. It is like a ghost place… We slept a night and all of us got rashes from the bed. Bathroom was like haunted house. Total waste of money.

The moment we pulled up to the hotel, I knew my family was not staying at this facility. There’s a door, a bed, and a shower! Oh if forgot the tube tv. The mgr @ Hotel Rome was rude and not at all accommadating. We got a refund for the room and took our business down the street to the Hilton Gardens! They were more than Happy to accommodate my family. Would I recommmend Mykonos Village, absolutly not! Tanya Martin
